We have been notified by the FBI that because of the background checks that are being processed for the U.S. Census Bureau, those background checks submitted by state agencies between April 28th and May 3rd, 2010 will not be processed until the week of May 4th, 2010. This will create a temporary, two-week backlog.

Please be advised that this will not only affect FBI background checks but also FBI/BCI-combined transactions. BCI-only transactions will not be affected. Corporate Screening will keep you updated with any information relevant to this subject if it arises.
