We just received word from the Department of Homeland Security that some E-Verify cases initiated between 3 p.m. (EST) Sunday, December 9, 2012 and 11 a.m. (EST) Monday, December 10, 2012 may have received an erroneous SSA Tentative Nonconfirmation (SSA TNC).
The issue has been resolved, but if any of your employees received an SSA TNC during the time noted above, you should resubmit their information using the following process :
1. Create a new case, and
2. Close the prior case by clicking ‘Cancel’ and selecting ‘Duplicate’ for the reason code.
If the new case receives an SSA TNC, you should follow the normal SSA TNC process.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause.
