The error was quickly addressed and affected candidates promptly received a follow-up email acknowledging the error. Here is the message subsequently delivered to the candidate:
Earlier today, you received an automated email from us with a subject line of **REMINDER**. We apologize as this email was sent in error and no further action is required of you at this time. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Though unlikely, there may have been a small pool of candidates who received these messages yet still have a current, pending case in our system. In that scenario, please resend the invite order to those candidates.
