With the fluidity regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus, all of us at Corporate Screening want to assure you that we are monitoring the developing situation and have resources in place to provide you with the latest information as it pertains to your background screening cases and program.

While our team is taking precautions to assure minimal disruptions to the processing of cases, rapidly changing jurisdictional mandates in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus will inevitably cause delays in processing of cases.  Look for further communication on this page as news develops and the situation changes. In response to these closures, we have developed a plan for processing cases in the impacted areas. Please click here to access our communications regarding that process. We have also created a summary of common court operational "statuses" that may impact some of your cases.

We don't want to inundate your inbox with an overabundance of messages, so we will make every effort to send only the most important updates via email. Please bookmark this page, as we intend to update this page as we receive more information.

Courts/Public Records Research

As more and more states implement emergency shutdowns and court activities are reduced or eliminated, there may be severe delays in criminal public records research.  Our public records research partners are working to complete all searches in the most efficient manner possible during this difficult time.  Last updated 3/26/2021, 10:45 a.m. ET

Colleges/Universities

While many institutions of higher education are closed for the duration of the semester, we anticipate minimal disruption in degree verifications, as many of these verifications are automated through the National Student Clearinghouse.  On a case-by-case basis, we may experience delays in turnaround time whenever a verification request requires research from institutions affected.

K-12 Schools

Statewide school closures may cause delays in securing any education/high school diploma verifications.

Fingerprinting Sites

Corporate Screening Cleveland Area Fingerprinting

Corporate Screening will now accept electronic fingerprinting appointments for applicants of current CS customers only, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  We will no longer accept walk-in business and will no longer offer the rolling of ink prints on cards.  Please see our recent blog post for more details.

Florida Fingerprinting

As of April 1, many fingerprinting locations have elected to suspend fingerprinting services for the foreseeable future.

In the event that applicants/companies requiring approval from Florida Agency for Health Care Administration  are unable to submit their fingerprints for a background check, the AHCA suggests the following emergency procedures, available for your review.

Drug Screening Collection Sites

Effective April 21: All those visiting a Quest Diagnostics PSC site for a drug screen will be required, upon entry, to pass a non-contact forehead temperature check and must wear a mask or face covering such as a bandana, scarf, or handmade mask. Those with a temperature greater than 100.3 or without a mask will be turned away for not meeting these new requirements. We encourage you to please share this with anyone needing a drug screen through Quest.
